五週年 The 5th Anniversary

詩篇 126:3「耶和華為我們行了大事，我們就歡喜。」

七月一日是吹號者事工成立五週年的日子。我們為這個里程碑向神獻上感恩。這事工由神發起、由神建立，也持續由祂帶領。能在這樣的時刻成為祂的器皿，服事眾教會，我們深感謙卑與感恩。

Psalm 126:3 “The LORD has done great things for us; we are glad.”

July 1 marked the fifth anniversary of Trumpeter Ministries, a milestone for which we thank God. This ministry was initiated by God, established by God, and continues to be led by Him. We are humbled to be His instruments in serving churches for such a time as this.

美國歷史讀書會 American History Reading Club(7/9-8/20)

詩篇 33：12a「以耶和華為　神的，那國有福了！」

今年七月四日，是美國建國二百五十週年。這段時間，我一直在想：除了禱告和看煙火，我還能做些什麼來慶祝這個日子？

我在美國生活的歲月，已經超過在臺灣生活的時間，因此也盼望能更有系統地認識美國的建國歷史。這兩個心願促使我舉辦了暑期美國歷史讀書會。David Barton 與 Tim Barton 合著的 The American Story: The Beginnings（暫譯：《美國的故事：起源》），正好符合我的需要。看到來自世界各地、將近兩百人報名參加，我深受鼓舞。參與者涵蓋不同世代，有孩子、父母，也有祖父母。每週由三位年輕學員分享指定章節的內容，接著分組討論。無論是學員的報告，還是書中的內容，都讓我深受啟發。

後來，我將所學整理成專題，在「誰是美國的神？從建國二百五十週年到社會主義的興起」工作坊中分享，也引起了許多人的興趣。透過這次研讀，我更確信：美國的建國深深扎根於基督信仰。其立國原則具有基督信仰的根基；基督徒，尤其是牧師，曾扮演重要的領導角色；法律體現了聖經教導的應用；而教育的一個核心目的，就是使人民能夠閱讀聖經，並理解法律。

今天，我們對美國的認識，已經與這樣的理解相去甚遠。我相信，這有助於我們理解美國衰退的原因，也提醒今天的基督徒，應當重新挖掘這些「古井」，為美國的更新而努力。

這七週的閱讀與討論，是我至今最值得投入時間與心力的經歷之一。

Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”

This July 4th marked the 250th anniversary of America’s founding. For some time, I had been wondering: besides praying and watching fireworks, what else could I do to celebrate this occasion? Having lived in America longer than I lived in Taiwan, I also wanted to study America’s founding history more systematically. These two desires inspired me to organize a summer American history reading club. David Barton and Tim Barton’s book, The American Story: The Beginnings, was exactly what I was looking for.

I was greatly encouraged when nearly two hundred people from around the world signed up. Participants spanned generations, including children, parents, and grandparents. Each week, three young participants presented material from the assigned chapters, followed by discussions in breakout rooms. Both the presentations and the book’s contents inspired me greatly.

Later, I shared what I had learned from the reading club in a workshop entitled “Who Is the God of America? From the 250th Anniversary to the Rise of Socialism.” The workshop generated considerable interest.

Through this study, I am more and more certain that America’s founding was deeply rooted in Christianity: its guiding principles were from the Bible; Christians, especially pastors, played important leadership roles; its laws applied biblical teachings; and the central purpose of education during those beginning years was to enable citizens to read the Bible and to understand the governing laws.

Our understanding of America today is far removed from this perspective. This fact helps explain the nation’s spiritual decline and calls Christians today to rediscover these “ancient wells” and work towards America’s revival.The seven weeks of reading and discussion during the summer were among the most worthwhile investments of time and effort I have ever made.

在家教育家庭營 Homeschool Family Camps

如同往年，今年暑假我們在美國舉辦了三場在家教育家庭營，地點分別在內華達州、威斯康辛州和紐澤西州。這些聚會讓在家教育家庭，以及對在家教育有興趣的家庭，有機會相聚、交流，並彼此學習。我們的宗旨是：「異象分享、資源共享、經驗傳承、建立社群。」

看到許多家庭開車數小時前來參加，有些甚至從其他州搭飛機而來，我深受感動。全家人能夠一起敬拜、學習、歡樂，是何等的蒙福！最令人感動的時刻，是聽到各個家庭分享他們所經歷的掙扎與改變。能夠陪伴他們走過其中一段路，我們深感謙卑與感恩。

面對當今不敬畏神的文化，我仍深信，在家教育是抵擋這種文化影響、培育基督精兵最有力的途徑之一。

As in previous years, this summer we held three homeschool family camps in the United States—in Nevada, Wisconsin, and New Jersey. These gatherings gave homeschooling families, as well as those interested in homeschooling, opportunities to connect and to learn from one another. Our purposes are to share the vision, to share resources and experience, and to build a godly community. I was encouraged to see families drive many hours to attend, while some even flew in from other states. What a blessing it was to worship, to learn, and to enjoy time together as families!

The most touching moments came when families shared their struggles as well as the changes they have experienced due to biblically-based homeschooling. We are humbled to be part of their journeys.

As we face today’s godless culture, I remain convinced that homeschooling is one of the most powerful ways to resist its influence and to raise faithful soldiers of Christ.

聖經世界觀培訓 Biblical Worldview Training

感謝張伯笠牧師的支持，讓我有機會透過 Zoom 在他所創辦的華夏福音神學院授課。這是一門密集課程，分四個星期六進行，每次四小時。我最享受的是問答與討論的時間，因為透過交流，我也能向學員學習。我盼望更多華人神學院也能以「聖經世界觀」裝備未來的傳道人，使他們像以薩迦支派的人一樣，能夠「通達時務，知道以色列人所當行的，同族弟兄也都聽從他們命令。」（歷代志上12:32）。

因應大家的請求，儘管我的行程十分忙碌，我們仍決定開辦新一期的「世界觀 I」培訓。許多過去的學員回來協助，一同重新點燃熱情，心意更新，活出聖經的世界觀。

I am grateful to Pastor Job Zhang for his support and for the opportunity to teach at his seminary via Zoom. This intensive course met for four hours each Saturday over four weeks. What I enjoyed most was the Q&A and discussion times during which I also learned from students. My hope is that more Chinese seminaries will equip future pastors with a biblical worldview so that they can understand the times, know how to respond, and lead others accordingly (1 Chronicles 12:32).

In response to requests, we decided to offer another session of Biblical Worldview I despite my busy travel schedule. Many former students returned to help, so that we could together inspire others to rekindle our passion for God, renew our minds (Romans 12:2), and live out a biblical worldview.

吹號服事 Serving churches

上帝持續為我們開門，讓我們有機會在不同教會中，針對世界觀、家庭與教育等議題服事眾教會。雖然旅途有時令人疲憊，但我們仍感恩珍惜每一次機會，去完成上帝所託付的使命。

上帝也賜給我們更多機會，以英語服事年輕人，這使我們更加迫切地盼望出版英文版的聖經世界觀教材。

在溫哥華之行中，上帝讓我們有機會向牧者與教會領袖介紹我們的事工。無論是參與的人數，還是大家的回應，都使我們深受鼓舞。讚美主！越來越多牧者聽見了號聲，並回應呼召。

God continues to open doors for us to serve in different churches, addressing issues related to worldview, family, and education. Although traveling can be tiring, we are grateful for every opportunity to do what God has called us to do.

God is also giving us more opportunities to minister to young people in English, which adds to our sense of urgency to publish our English-language biblical worldview curriculum.

During our trip to Vancouver, God gave us opportunities to introduce our ministry to pastors and church leaders. We were greatly encouraged by both the turnout and the response. Praise the Lord! More and more pastors are hearing the trumpet sound and are answering the call.

在家教育 Homeschooling

九月，我們恢復了本地在家教育支持小組的聚會，並歡迎了幾個新家庭加入。能夠接待在家教育的家庭到我們家中相聚，是神賜給我們的一份特別祝福。每次聚會，Linda 師母都會教導一主題，讓全家人可以一起學習。

在九月的在家教育線上月中，三個家庭一同慶祝他們的孩子今年進入大學，並分享了高中階段在家教育的經驗。其中兩個家庭因「吹號者事工」的吹號而開始在家教育，更使我們深受鼓舞。

In September, we resumed our local homeschool support group meetings and welcomed several new families to our group. It is a special blessing from God to have homeschool families gather in our home. At each gathering, Linda teaches a lesson that the whole family can learn together.

At our September monthly online homeschool meeting, three families celebrated their children starting college this year and shared their experiences homeschooling through high school. We were especially encouraged to learn that two of the families had begun their homeschool journey as a result of hearing Trumpeter Ministries messages.

講座和訪談 Lectures and interviews

儘管旅行行程十分忙碌，神仍賜給我們許多機會，舉辦線上工作坊並接受訪談。透過這些線上分享，我們能接觸更廣大的觀眾。我們很感恩能與許多其他「吹號者」同工，一同吹響號角。我們最近接受台灣保守派 YouTuber @GodsTeamMate 的訪談，觀看次數已超過一萬三千次。他確實是神賜給我們的「超級神隊友」。

Despite our very busy travel schedule, God also gave us many opportunities to conduct online workshops and to participate in interviews. Through these online events, we can reach a much broader audience. We are thankful to partner with many other “trumpeters” to sound the trumpet together. Our latest interview with Taiwan’s conservative YouTuber @GodsTeamMate has received more than 13,000 views. He truly is God’s teammate alongside us.

In October, we will hold our first English-language worldview conference, followed by our annual trip to Asia. This year’s Asia schedule is much more demanding, and we greatly need your prayers. Then, at the end of this year, Trumpeter Ministries will participate in Gospel for China 2026 in Chicago. We are greatly honored to have the opportunity to lead three workshops and to host a booth to introduce our ministry.
