本季是自2021年7月吹號者事工成立以來最繁忙的第一季。通常冬天我們可以放慢腳步，但上帝為我們開啟了越來越多的「門」，祂確實「擴張了我們的帳幕」。
This quarter has been the busiest first quarter since the launching of the ministry in July 2021. Usually winter time we can slow down a little bit but God has opened more and more opportunities for us, and indeed God has “enlarged our tent”.
聖經世界觀培訓 Biblical Worldview training
通常我們一次只舉辦一個訓練，但今年冬天我們同時舉辦了兩個培訓。為了跟進台灣讀經會和吹號者事工2025年秋天的台灣巡迴服事，台灣讀經會特地為台灣的弟兄姊妹組織了《聖經世界觀 I》的培訓。令我們非常感動的是，近百人報名參加了培訓，其中包括許多牧者和事工領袖，並且都堅持出席。有些教會，主任牧師帶領教會領袖一起參加培訓，為培訓整個教會做好準備。我很榮幸有機會與台灣的弟兄姊妹一起教導和學習，我們期待上帝今年秋天在台灣成就更大的事。
Usually we only do one training at a time, but this winter we did two. In order to provide follow up after Scripture Union of Taiwan and Trumpeter Ministries’ Fall 2025 Taiwan tour, Scripture Union of Taiwan organized a Biblical Worldview I training especially for those in Taiwan. We were very encouraged that almost 100 individuals, including many pastors and ministry leaders, signed up for the class and attended faithfully. In the case of a few churches, the senior pastor recruited key leaders to joined the class together to prepare to train the whole church. I was humbled to have this opportunity to teach, and to learn together with, brothers and sisters in Taiwan. We are looking forward to seeing what even greater things God will do this Fall in Taiwan.
一月份，我們也開設了英文的《聖經世界觀II》的培訓課程，作為出版英文版教材的準備工作之一。令我們驚喜的是，竟然有許多五、六年級的學生也報名參加！在學習如何將聖經世界觀應用於家庭、教育、職場、政府、媒體、藝術和娛樂等領域的過程中，學員們的分享讓我深受鼓舞。的確，教會能夠也應該為年輕人提供比以往更豐富的「屬靈乾糧」。請為我們能早日出版英文版的《聖經世界觀》教材禱告。
In January we also offered Biblical Worldview II training in English as part of our preparation to publish the curriculum in English. To our surprise, students as young as 5th and 6th graders signed up! As we studied how to apply the biblical worldview to areas such as the family, education, the workplace, government, media, and the arts and entertainment, I felt so encouraged by participants’ presentations. Indeed, our churches can and should give our young people much more “solid food” than we have been providing them. Please pray for us as we work on publishing an English version of the Worldview curriculum.
正道神學院中西部校區聖經世界觀培訓 Logos Evangelical Seminary Chicago Campus Worldview Training
2月28日至3月1日，我們在正道神學院芝加哥校區舉辦了兩天的《聖經世界觀I》密集訓練。我們特別感謝代理主任陳永昌牧師及其同工們，感謝他們為此次培訓所做的一切安排。來自該地區多個教會的二十多名學員參加了為期兩天的培訓。學員們的熱情令我深受鼓舞！我們期待與正道神學院及其他神學院進一步合作，幫助更多未來的傳道人「通達時務」。
2/28 – 3/1 We held an intense Biblical Worldview I training at the Chicago campus of Logos Evangelical Seminary. We are especially grateful for the interim director, Pastor Patrick Chen, and his co-workers who made the arrangements for us . Over twenty students from a number of different churches in the area joined the two-day training. I was so encouraged by the students’ enthusiasm! We are looking forward to working further with Logos Seminary and other seminaries to equip more future pastors to “understand the times”.
搶救下一代特會 Saving the Next Generation Conference
冬季，我們通常不到外州舉辦特會，1月23日到1月25日特別感謝張道山牧師熱情地邀請我們去溫暖的佛羅裡達州彭薩科拉市舉辦特會。當時紐約正值異常寒冷暴雪的嚴冬。張牧師在新冠疫情期間經歷了一次屬靈的體驗，聽到了吹號者事工的號聲後，便開始在家教育他的兩個兒子。隨後，上帝帶領他全家人從阿拉巴馬州搬到佛羅裡達州彭薩科拉市，並在那裡建立了一個教會。目前，張牧師的大兒子是彭薩科拉基督教學院的大一新生。這是一所非常保守的基督教大學，其附屬機構使用Abeka課程，被在家教育者和基督教學校廣泛採用。我感謝上帝，許多像張牧師這樣的見證激勵我們繼續前進！
During the winter season, we don’t usually travel out of state for conferences, but on Jan. 23 to 25 we were very thankful for the “warm” invitation from Pastor Zhang to speak in Pensacola, FL, during what turned out to be a time of unusually frigid and snowy weather in NY. It was due to a divine encounter during COVID that Pastor Zhang began homeschooling his two sons after hearing the trumpet sound of Trumpeter Ministries, followed by God’s leading his family to move from Alabama to Pensacola, FL to start a church. At the present time, Pastor Zhang’s older son is a freshman at Pensacola Christian College, a very conservative Christian college, of which Abeka curriculum, used by homeschoolers and Christian schools, is an affiliate ministry. I thank God for testimonies from many like Pastor Zhang which compel us to continue going forward!
校園崇拜分享 Chapel Service Sharing
1月30日星期五，我受邀在弗吉尼亞州珀塞爾維爾的帕特里克·亨利學院（Patrick Henry College，簡稱PHC）的校園崇拜分享。PHC位於華盛頓特區西北方約40英里處，是一所規模雖小但深具企圖心的保守基督教大學。PHC地理位置優越，坐落於美國首都郊外，致力於培養學生成為政府機構的「變革推動者」，讓聖經世界觀能夠影響我們的文化，並使我們的國家回歸聖經的根基。當天上午，我分享的題目為「成為變革推動者」，獲得了學生們的正面回饋。讓我們下定決心，積極訓練和培養基督精兵，治理和管理文化，以抵禦席捲我們土地的世俗主義浪潮。
On Friday, 1/30, I was invited to speak at a chapel service at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, VA, about 40 miles northwest of Washington, D.C.. PHC is a small conservative Christian College with big ambition. Strategically located outside of the capital of the United States, PHC trains its students to be “change agents” in government agencies so that the biblical worldview can influence our culture and our country be restored to its biblical foundations. My sermon that morning, entitled “Be a Change Agent”, received much positive feedback from students. Let us be determined to actively train and produce Christian soldiers to subdue and have a dominion over the culture to counter the tsunami of secularism that has come upon our land.
教會講台服事 Serving Churches
我們感謝有機會在主日到不同的當地教會分享。上帝為我們打開了更多在紐約和新澤西地區服事的門。2月22日，另一個遭遇破紀錄暴風雪的周末，我們受邀到新澤西州帕西帕尼，在新澤西主恩堂（CCCNJ）講道，並與教會領袖們就我們的事工進行了深入的交流。我們非常感恩，在暴風雪導致東海岸癱瘓兩天之前及時返回紐約。
We are thankful for opportunities to speak at different local churches on Sundays. God has opened more doors for us to serve in the NY and NJ area. On Feb. 22 during another record storm weekend, we traveled to Parsippany, NJ to preach at CCCNJ and had a very deep conversation with church leaders about the work of our ministry. We were very thankful that we arrived back home in NY right before the severe snow storm which shut down the East Coast for two days.

On March 22, I preached two sermons and led two workshops at The Reformed Church of Newtown in Elmhurst, NYC. The church had just completed our Worldview I course in their Sunday School class. I was overwhelmed by their enthusiasm; each session from early morning to afternoon was packed. Praise the Lord! More churches in New York are adopting our curriculum. The Reformed Church of Newtown is a historic Reformed church which was first established by Dutch immigrants in 1731.

上帝為我們提供了更多機會，讓我們能夠透過網路向更多人吹號。3月14日，我們很榮幸能在新加坡證主協會主辦的新加坡基督教教育論壇上，分享「教導青少年信徒的世界觀」。3月18日，我們在紐約市教牧同工會（CCWI）舉辦了一場題為「教會如何面對世俗主義的風暴」的研討會分享。來自世界各地約120人參加了此次研討會，包括美國、加拿大、中國、香港、澳洲、台灣、馬來西亞和巴西等不同國家的牧者同工。的確，世俗主義的風暴不僅席捲美國，也遍及全球。感謝上帝，越來越多的教會已經覺醒，並準備迎戰。
God has extended opportunities for us to speak to broader audiences online. On March 14 we were honored to speak about “Teaching Biblical Worldview to the Youth” at the Singapore Christian Education Forum organized by Christian Communications Singapore. On March 18, the New York Chinese Christian Association (CCWI) hosted a workshop “Confronting Secularism: The Mission of the Church Today”. About 120 people joined the workshop from places all over the world including the United States, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Australia, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Brazil. Indeed, the storm of secularism is not only here in America but is all over the world. Thank God that more and more churches have woken up and are getting ready to fight.
很榮幸我們也能參與紐約基督教華人同工會新成立的「倫理與宗教自由委員會」在這彎曲背繆的世代「守護真理 為主發聲」。
We are honored to participate in the newly established “Ethics and Religious Freedom Committee” of the New York Chinese Christian Association (CCWI), to “uphold the truth and speak out for the Lord” among this crooked and perverse generation.
在家教育 Homeschool
我們持續舉辦每月一次的線上會議、本地支持小組以及年度線上家庭教育大會，旨在鼓勵和幫助家庭在家教育，使他們能夠按照聖經的世界觀生活，並遵行申命記6:1-9的教導。每月都有來自世界各地的100多人參加我們的線上會議。在三月的線上會議上，我們的一位同工，一位曾在公立學校和私立學校任教過的老師，分享了「公立學校如何塑造我們孩子的世界觀」這個主題。會議清楚地指出，公立學校的世界觀是反聖經的，它正將我們的孩子以及下一代引離上帝。三月會議的內容對每個人，尤其是基督徒領袖來說，都至關重要。對基督教的延續與存續而言，教育無疑是最重要的戰場。
We continue to host our monthly online meetings, local support group, and annual online homeschool convention to encourage and to equip families to homeschool as they seek to live consistently with a biblical worldview and to follow Deut. 6:1-9. Every month more than 100 people from different parts of the world join our online meeting. At our March online meeting, one of our co-workers, a former public school and private school teacher, shared “How the public school shapes our children’s worldview”. It was shown very clearly that worldview of the public school is an anti-biblical worldview which leads our children and all of the next generation away from God. The content of the March meeting is a must-know for everyone especially Christian leaders. For the continuation and survival of Christianity, education is in fact the most important battlefield.

每日靈修 Daily Devotions
我們驚嘆於上帝如何透過我們每日的線上靈修，在我們研讀聖經的過程中，持續激勵許多人。來自世界各地的兒童、青少年和成年人每天都忠實地加入我們。令人鼓舞的是，許多經常參與的年輕人自願在我外出時帶領靈修。我們非常感謝我們忠實的同工們，他們每週一至週五，每天早晚都盡心盡力協助靈修。
We are amazed at how God continues to inspire many through our daily online devotions as we read through the Bible. Children, young people, and adults from all over the world faithfully join us everyday. It is so encouraging that many young people from among our regular participants volunteer to lead the devotions when I am out. We are very grateful for our faithful co-workers who facilitate the devotions every weekday, Monday through Friday, morning and afternoon.

The Second Quarter will be the busiest in terms of travel. We are humbled by each opportunity that we are given, and without your prayer and financial support we would not be able to do what God has called us to do.
