Jeremiah 6:16 Thus says the Lord: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

Jeremiah had a very tough job. He knew that the whole nation was heading in the wrong direction and was asked to call people to return to “the ancient paths, the good way.” Today we are facing the same situation. America has forsaken the ancient paths, the biblical principles upon which she was founded, and has pursued the road of “new” ideas of Man. What we seek is what we will obtain. When we walk on the wrong paths, rather than peace and rest, we find chaos. Let us “look, and ask for the ancient paths” and “walk in it, so we can find rest for [our] souls!”
