Psalm 119:32 I will run in the way of your commandments when you enlarge my heart!

Psalm 119 is the longest chapter of the longest book in the Bible, the Psalms. In the 176 verses of this Psalm, the author uses many terms to describe the importance of the Word of God and tells us what do. We live at a time of famine regarding God’s Word. Even God’s people find that our “heart’s warehouse” is empty and therefore we often sin against God. May God “enlarge [our] heart” and increase our desire and appetite for the Word of God as He did for  Solomon. May we see that God’s truth covers every area of our lives! “And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding beyond measure and breadth of mind like the sand on the seashore.” (1 King 4:29) This is not a time to sit and lay back, but it is time to “run in the way of [God’s] commandments”. We are in the last quarter of the “ball game”; no matter how tired and exhausted we are, we need to run with all our strength. “Let us press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus ” (Philippians 3:14)
