Let Us March Together

Psalm 84:5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways to Zion.As they go through the Valley of Baca they make it a place of springs; the early rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength  each one appears before God in Zion.

Many of us may feel like we are walking through the Valley of Baca (meaning “drought or weeping”), a place of pain and hopelessness, but let us not remain there! Let us instead keep walking to the dwelling place of God. And as we walk, God will send an early rain to make the valley of drought become a valley of springs. Let us find strength in God and enter the highway towards Zion. Let us march along with those who are ahead, a “cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1), and with those who are still present to inspire those who will come after, so we can find strength and give strength to others. Let us not be distracted or detoured by the current turmoil in the world, but let us keep our eyes on Zion and keep moving forward! Like the Allied soldiers who landed in Normandy on D-Day, we need to keep moving even under heavy fire. Jesus has already won the victory and He is waiting for us at the finish line. Let us leave the “bunkers” of our lives and all march together to Zion !
