Psalm 22:30 Posterity shall serve him; it shall be told of the Lord to the coming generation; 31 they shall come and proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn, that he has done it.
詩篇 22:30 必有後裔事奉他，主所做的事必傳給後代。31 他們必來傳他的公義給尚未出生的子民，這是他的作為。
What our next generation knows is what they will serve. If all they know is the world, then they will serve the world. But if they know God and His righteousness, then they will serve God. So the battle lies with who is teaching our next generation and what is being taught to our children. For too long we have thought that we are doing our job: parents have thought that it is enough to have a family altar at home, the church has thought that it is enough to have a worship service, Sunday School classes, and good programs. We have underestimated the force of the world! The Bible actually warns us that “the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.” (1 John 5:19) We need to let our next generation know God everyday in every subject area so that they will know God, follow Him, and serve Him.
